According to the business leaders questioned in October, the economic situation improves again in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator increases again and is now significantly above its long-term average.
According to the business leaders questioned in October, the economic situation improves again in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator increases again and is now significantly above its long-term average.
Recent sales slightly decrease but this masks different tendencies: a fall in non-specialised retail trade, a rise in trade of motor vehicles.
Expected sales and ordering intentions increase again. Overall economic expectations go up too, indicating that retailers’opinion stay optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
