In September 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) decreased by 0.8%, after an increase in August (0.3%; first estimate: 0.8%).

Non domestic new orders also decreased in September (-0.2%).

Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+3.4%)

Over the same period, non domestic new orders rose by 4.4% (q-o-q).

New orders increased by 2.3% (q-o-q) in the “other manufacturing” sector, by 6.4% in automobile and by 4.3% in “electrical and electronic equipment”.

Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+10.7%)

The quarterly level of new orders is 10.7% higher than a year ago.
