In May 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by +0.5%, after a slight decrease in April 2010 (–0.3%, –0.4% initially announced). Exports grew by +1.4%, after –3.5% in April. The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) grew by +0.3% in May. On a quarterly basis (Q/Q–1), the turnover in manufacturing industry rose by 2.3%. It primarily increased in the other manufacturing (+2.4%) and the electrical, electronic equipment and machine equipment (+1.4%). The turnover in manufacturing industry grew by 6.0% year on year (Q/Q–4). However, it markedly remained under the level reached befor the crisis.
