In May 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) decreased by 1.2%, after an increase in April (0.7%; first estimate: 0.3%).
In May 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) decreased by 1.2%, after an increase in April (0.7%; first estimate: 0.3%).
Non domestic new orders also decreased in May (–1.2%).
Over the last quarter, new orders decreased in industry (-1.3%)
Over the same period, non domestic new orders were steady.
New orders decreased by 15.4% (q-o-q) in automobile and by 3.9% in “electrical and electronic equipment”. On the contrary, in the “other manufacturing” sector, new orders increased by 4.0%.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+11.2%)
The quarterly level of new orders is 11.2% higher than a year ago.
