According to the business leaders questioned in May, the economic situation is less dynamic in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator decreases a little but remains over its long-term average.
According to the business leaders questioned in May, the economic situation is less dynamic in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator decreases a little but remains over its long-term average.
Recent sales still increased, specifically in the non specialised food sector. However, this progress should break off: expected sales and ordering intentions display few variations and are near their medium level. Besides, overall economic expectations decline slightly and go nearer their long-term average, indicating that retailers’opinion is a little less optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
