In June 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry weakened by –0.5%, after a slight increase in May (+0.5%). However, exports remained sustained (+1.1%, after +1.5% in May).

In June 2010, the turnover in manufacturing industry weakened by –0.5%, after a slight increase in May (+0.5%). However, exports remained sustained (+1.1%, after +1.5% in May).
The turnover of the industry as a whole (B to E) was broadly stable in June (–0.1%).
Compared to Q1 2010, the turnover of Q2 2010 in manufacturing industry rose by 1.1%. It primarily increased in the other manufacturing (+2.5%) and the electrical and electronic equipment; & machine equipment (+1.1%). The turnover decreased by 3.7% in the manufacture of transport equipment.
Compared to Q2 2009, the turnover of Q2 2010 in manufacturing industry grew by 5.3%. However, it remained well below the level reached before the crisis.
