Warning: business surveys are now published according to the French economic activities and products classification NAF rév. 2.

According to the business leaders questioned in April, the economic situation improves in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator increases and goes over its long-term average.

Recent sales significantly increased, specifically because of the non specialised food sector. Expected sales and ordering intentions increase as well. Overall economic expectations rise slightly from their long-term average, indicating that retailers’opinion is a little more optimistic about the economic situation in the trade sector.
