In February 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) little decreased (–0.6%), after a marked decrease in January (-10.0%; first estimate: -9.4%).

Non domestic new orders increased in February (+3.2%).
Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+6.6%)
Over the last quarter, non domestic new orders also rose (+13.1% q-o-q).
New orders increased by 22.7% (q-o-q) in automobile, by 2.2% in the “other manufacturing” sector, and by 7.0% in “electrical and electronic equipment”.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher
The quarterly level of new orders is 7.8% higher than a year ago.
