2009- n° 292Despite a decrease in September (-1.6%), manufacturing production increased in Q3
2009 (+3.3%) Industrial production index - September 2009
In Q3 2009, the rise of the manufacturing production reached +3.3% (+2.9% for Total Industry).
In September 2009, the manufacturing production decreased (-1.6%), after a sharp rise in August (+3.0%, initially announced at +1.9%, due to a strong revision in the seasonally adjusted data). The production of Total Industry went down too (-1.5% after +2.8%).
In Q3 2009, the rise of the manufacturing production reached +3.3% (+2.9% for Total Industry).
Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
