Households consumption in manufactured goods clearly increased in September (+2.3% in volume*).
Households consumption in manufactured goods clearly increased in September (+2.3% in volume*).
This increase almost compensate the decreases in July (-1.1%) and August (-1.0%).
In the end, over the third quarter, households consumption in manufactured good slightly decreased (-0.2%, after +0.7% in Q2).
In September, sales of Cars and Textile dramatically renew with growth
Expenditures in durables increased by 4.8% in September (0.7% in Q3).
In particular, cars sales dramatically renew with growth (+10.2%), after a drop in July (-2.9%) and August (-1.2%).
Expenditures in textile exhibit the same profile (+2.9% in September, after -3.0% in July and -3.8% in August). Yet, in Q3, textile expenditures dropped (-2.5%, after -0.3% in Q2).
Other manufactured goods follow the same profile with lower magnitude (+0.3% in September, after -0.2% in July and August). Over the third quarter, these expenditures are almost stable (+0.1%).
