In 2014, 85.0% of young people of French nationality aged between 18 and 24 were registered on electoral rolls. Nearly nine out of ten of them had benefitted from an automatic registration procedure. Registration was more common among the most highly qualified. Young French people with at least one parent born abroad were registered on the electoral rolls less often than others.
