Actual working hours as defined by the Employment survey

Hours worked including overtime (paid or unpaid) and excluding hours not worked due to annual leave, public holidays, illness, maternity, paternity, short-time working, strike, etc.

The effective hours can be calculated on a weekly basis (effective weekly working hours) or on a yearly basis (effective annual working hours).
