Définition

The compensatory allowance for third parties makes it possible to cover the costs of employing a third party to assist the beneficiary with a disability in everyday activities. Replaced on 1 January 2006 by the Disability Compensation Benefit, former recipients can continue to benefit from it when their rights are renewed.

Managed by the departments, it is means-tested.
