The balance related to ordering intentions has sharply retreated
In November 2024, the balance related to the ordering intentions has sharply retreated and moved away from its long-term average. The balance related to the expected sales has diminished again slightly and has moved away from its own. Conversely, the balance on the past sales has rebounded sharply and has moved above its average; the one related to the general business outlook has rebounded a bit and has moved away from its own.
The balance of opinion associated with the expected change in the workforce size has diminished again and has moved away from its long-term average. Besides, the one on its past change has increased again a bit and has moved closer to its own.
The balance associated with the current level of stocks has increased again and has moved away from its average.
The bimonthly balance on the cash position has sharply increased and has moved closer to its own.
The balance of opinion on the expected prices is almost stable, at the level of its long-term average. The bimonthly balance on the past prices is stable just below its own.
Lastly, the balance on the felt economic uncertainty has increased and has moved closer to its long-term average.

The balance associated with the ordering intentions has retreated strongly in trade and repair of motor vehicles and has moved away from its long-term average, while it is almost stable in retail trade (excluding motor vehicles) at the level of its own.
The balance associated with the expected change in the workforce size has diminished again in retail trade (excluding motor vehicles), moving away from its average, and to a lesser extent in trade and repair of motor vehicles, where it has moved closer to its own.
The balance associated with the past and expected sales have rebounded sharply in retail trade (excluding motor vehicles), but have diminished in trade and repair of motor vehicles where they have moved away from their respective average. In this sub-sector, the balance associated with the expected sales has reached a level unobserved since August 2022.
The balance associated with the current level of stocks has increased sharply again in trade and repair of motor vehicles, and has moved further away from its average. It has diminished again a bit in retail trade (excluding motor vehicles) where it has moved closer to its own.
