In Q1 2020, house prices were higher compared to the previous quarter (+1.0%, raw data). Year on year, the increase in house prices was intensifying (+4.9% after +3.8%).

Year on year, the rise of house prices was intensifying

In Q1 2020, house prices were higher than the previous quarter (+1.0%, raw data). In detail, second-hand dwelling prices increased by +1.2% (after +0.2% the previous quarter). However, new dwelling prices decreased by 0.2% (after +1.1%).

Year on year, the increase in house prices was intensifying (+4.9% after +3.8% the previous quarter). Second-hand dwelling prices grew faster (+5.0% y-o-y) than new dwelling prices (+3.9%).

Revisions

The indices of Q4 2019 were revised to include observations recorded after the previous publication. The year-on-year variation in new dwelling prices in Q4 2019 is unchanged compared to the previous publication (+4.0%). The total housing prices one in Q4 2019 is also unchanged (+3.8%).
