Year on year, house prices kept rising
In Q2 2019, house prices were higher than in the previous quarter (+1.1%, raw data). In detail, second-hand dwelling prices increased by 1.1% (after 0.0% the previous quarter), and new dwelling prices increased by +2.0% (after –0.1%).
Year on year, the increase in house prices is intensifying (+3.2% after +2.9% the previous quarter). New dwelling prices grew slightly faster (+3.5% y-o-y) than second-hand dwelling prices (+3.2%).

The index of Q1 2019 was revised to include observations recorded after the previous publication. Nonetheless, the year on year variation in housing prices in Q1 2019 is unchanged compared to the previous publication (+2.9%).
