Output decreased again in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (−1.3% after −0.8%) and it slipped back in the manufacture of other transport equipment (−0.9% after +8.6%).
Output tumbled in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (−13.9% after −3.9%)
Output collapsed in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (−13.9% after −3.9%) due to maintenances in several refineries.
Output decreased in the manufacture of food products and beverages (−0.4% after +1.0%)
Output slipped back in the manufacture of food products and beverages (−0.4% after +1.0%) due to a drop in the manufacture of other food products.
Output bounced back in mining and quarrying; energy; water supply (+1.9% after −5.3%)
Output picked up in mining and quarrying; energy; water supply (+1.9% after −5.3%) due to a rebound in electricity, gas (+2.2% after −6.0%).
Output recovered in machinery and equipment goods (+0.7% after −2.9%)
Output rebounded in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (+1.6% after −5.7%) and in that of machinery and equipment n.e.c. (+0.3% after −2.5%). Conversely, it slipped back in the manufacture of electrical equipment (−0.2% after +2.2%).
