In September 2013, the sales volume declined compared to August in accommodation and food activities (–1.5%), in household services (–1.1%), and in retail trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (–0.6%). Though, it continued rising in repair of motor vehicules and motorcycles (+0.3% after +0.8% in August).
In September 2013, the sales volume declined compared to August in accommodation and food activities (–1.5%), in household services (–1.1%), and in retail trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (–0.6%). Though, it continued rising in repair of motor vehicules and motorcycles (+0.3% after +0.8% in August).
Over the last quarter (q-o-q), the sales volume grew in the retail trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (+1.4%) and in trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (+0.8%). It declined in household services (–0.5%) and in accommodation and food service activities (–0.4%).
Over the year (y-o-y), the sales volume increased strongly in the retail trade except for motor vehicles and motorcycles (+1.6%) and slightly in household services (+0.2%). On the contrary it went down in accommodation and food services activities (–2.3%) and in trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (–1.4%).

In October 2013, the sales volume in the retail trade is expected to rise (+1.2%).
Revisions
The change in August has been revised by +0.2 point in the trade and repair of motor vehicules, by +0.1 point in household services and by –0.1 point in the retail trade, except for motor vehicles and motorcycles.
