In October 2010, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) increased slowly by 0.2%, after a decrease in September (-0.6%; first estimate: -0.8%).

Non domestic new orders also increased in October (2.7%).
Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+2.2%)
Over the same period, non domestic new orders rose by 3.0% (q-o-q).
New orders increased by 7.0% in automobile, by 3.2% in “electrical and electronic equipment” and by 0.7% (q–o-q) in the “other manufacturing” sector, and.
Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+10.6%)
The quarterly level of new orders is 10.6% higher than a year ago.
