This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013 :

  • 01/01/2013 – Saint-Étienne-en-Dévoluy devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Dévoluy (05139) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2013 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Dévoluy en lieu et place des communes d'Agnières-en-Dévoluy (05002), de La Cluse (05042), de Saint-Disdier (05138) et de Saint-Étienne-en-Dévoluy (05139) devenues déléguées.
