This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013:

  • 01/01/2016 – Saint-Florent-des-Bois devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Rives de l'Yon (85213) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Rives de l'Yon en lieu et place des communes de Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux (85043) et de Saint-Florent-des-Bois (85213) devenues déléguées.
