- 01/01/2025 – Le Merlerault devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Merlerault-le-Pin (61275) (commune nouvelle).
- 01/01/2025 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Merlerault-le-Pin en lieu et place des communes des Authieux-du-Puits (61017), de La Genevraie (61188), de Godisson (61192), du Merlerault (61275) et de Nonant-le-Pin (61310) devenues déléguées.
