This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013:

  • 01/01/2016 – Montier-en-Der devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de La Porte du Der (52331) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de La Porte du Der en lieu et place des communes de Montier-en-Der (52331) et de Robert-Magny (52427) devenues déléguées.
