This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013:

  • 01/01/2018 – Les Rosiers-sur-Loire devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Gennes-Val-de-Loire (49261) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2018 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Gennes-Val-de-Loire en lieu et place des communes de Gennes-Val de Loire (49149), des Rosiers-sur-Loire (49261) et de Saint-Martin-de-la-Place (49304).
