- 01/01/2016 – Le Gros-Theil devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein du Bosc du Theil (27302) (commune nouvelle).
- 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle du Bosc du Theil en lieu et place des communes du Gros-Theil (27302) et de Saint-Nicolas-du-Bosc (27574) devenues déléguées.
