This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013:

  • 01/01/2016 – La Croix-Saint-Leufroy devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Clef Vallée d'Eure (27191) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Clef Vallée d'Eure en lieu et place des communes de La Croix-Saint-Leufroy (27191), d'Écardenville-sur-Eure (27211) et de Fontaine-Heudebourg (27250) devenues déléguées.
