  • 01/01/2024 – Cherves-Richemont devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val-de-Cognac (16097) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2024 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val-de-Cognac en lieu et place des communes de Cherves-Richemont (16097) et de Saint-Sulpice-de-Cognac (16355) devenues déléguées.
