This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2013:

  • 01/01/2016 – Rots devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Rots (14543) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Rots en lieu et place des communes de Lasson (14356), de Rots (14543) et de Secqueville-en-Bessin (14670) devenues déléguées.
