This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2017 – Bazouges-sur-le-Loir devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Bazouges Cré sur Loir (72025) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Bazouges Cré sur Loir en lieu et place des communes de Bazouges-sur-le-Loir (72025) et de Cré-sur-Loir (72108) devenues déléguées.
