This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012 :

  • 01/01/2016 – Condé-sur-Noireau devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Condé-en-Normandie (14174) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Condé-en-Normandie en lieu et place des communes de La Chapelle-Engerbold (14152), de Condé-sur-Noireau (14174), de Lénault (14361), de Proussy (14523), de Saint-Germain-du-Crioult (14585) et de Saint-Pierre-la-Vieille (14653) devenues déléguées.
