Nicolas Boudrot (Insee)

In 2022, more of four of ten French companies conducted remote meetings, which was less than in European Union.

Remote access to professional tools was widespread in France: two of three companies have provided to any of persons employed remote access to e-mail system, documents, and applications or software of the company, more than in European Union.

In France, more than half of companies providing remote access had ICT security guidelines concerning remote access, compared to two of three in European Union.

Six out of ten companies took steps to limit the amount of paper they used, twice as many as to limit the energy consumption of ICT equipment.

Two of ten companies bought refurbished computer equipment, and six of ten have considered environmental impact of ICT equipment when selecting them. When it is no longer used, this equipment was more often recycled than kept in the company, sold or donated.
