This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Sainteny devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Terre-et-Marais (50564) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Terre-et-Marais en lieu et place des communes de Saint-Georges-de-Bohon (50470) et de Sainteny (50564) devenues déléguées.
