This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Gonneville devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Gonneville-Le Theil (50209) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Gonneville-Le Theil en lieu et place des communes de Gonneville (50209) et du Theil (50595) devenues déléguées.
