  • 01/01/2016 – Varennes-sur-Fouzon devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val-Fouzon (36229) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val-Fouzon en lieu et place des communes de Parpeçay (36151), de Sainte-Cécile (36183) et de Varennes-sur-Fouzon (36229) devenues déléguées.
