  • 15/12/2015 – Montrevault devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Montrevault-sur-Èvre (49218) (commune nouvelle).
  • 15/12/2015 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Montrevault-sur-Èvre en lieu et place des communes de La Boissière-sur-Èvre (49033), de Chaudron-en-Mauges (49083), de La Chaussaire (49085), du Fief-Sauvin (49137), du Fuilet (49145), de Montrevault (49218), du Puiset-Doré (49252), de Saint-Pierre-Montlimart (49313), de Saint-Quentin-en-Mauges (49314), de Saint-Rémy-en-Mauges (49316) et de La Salle-et-Chapelle-Aubry (49324) devenues déléguées.
