- 01/07/2017 – Bruis devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Valdoule (05024) (commune nouvelle).
- 01/07/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Valdoule en lieu et place des communes de Bruis (05024), de Montmorin (05088) et de Sainte-Marie (05150) devenues déléguées.
