This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2019 – Cessières devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Cessières-Suzy (02153) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Cessières-Suzy en lieu et place des communes de Cessières (02153) et de Suzy (02733) devenues déléguées.
