  • 15/12/2015 – Saint-Macaire-en-Mauges devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Sèvremoine (49301) (commune nouvelle).
  • 15/12/2015 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Sèvremoine en lieu et place des communes du Longeron (49179), de Montfaucon-Montigné (49206), de La Renaudière (49258), de Roussay (49263), de Saint-André-de-la-Marche (49264), de Saint-Crespin-sur-Moine (49273), de Saint-Germain-sur-Moine (49285), de Saint-Macaire-en-Mauges (49301), de Tillières (49349) et de Torfou (49350) devenues déléguées.
