This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Le Bény-Bocage devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Souleuvre en Bocage (14061) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Souleuvre en Bocage en lieu et place des communes de Beaulieu (14052), du Bény-Bocage (14061), de Bures-les-Monts (14115), de Campeaux (14129), de Carville (14139), d'Étouvy (14255), de La Ferrière-Harang (14264), de La Graverie (14317), de Malloué (14395), de Montamy (14440), de Mont-Bertrand (14441), de Montchauvet (14443), du Reculey (14532), de Saint-Denis-Maisoncelles (14573), de Sainte-Marie-Laumont (14618), de Saint-Martin-des-Besaces (14629), de Saint-Martin-Don (14632), de Saint-Ouen-des-Besaces (14636), de Saint-Pierre-Tarentaine (14655) et du Tourneur (14704) devenues déléguées.
