  • 01/01/2019 – Les Sables-d'Olonne devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein des Sables-d'Olonne (85194) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle des Sables-d'Olonne en lieu et place des communes de Château-d'Olonne (85060), d'Olonne-sur-Mer (85166) et des Sables-d'Olonne (85194) devenues déléguées.
