This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Les Abrets devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein des Abrets en Dauphiné (38001) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle des Abrets en Dauphiné en lieu et place des communes des Abrets (38001), de La Bâtie-Divisin (38028) et de Fitilieu (38165) devenues déléguées.
