This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Sorges devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Sorges et Ligueux en Périgord (24540) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Sorges et Ligueux en Périgord en lieu et place des communes de Ligueux (24239) et de Sorges (24540) devenues déléguées.
