  • 01/01/2019 – Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Rives-du-Couesnon (35282) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2019 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Rives-du-Couesnon en lieu et place des communes de Saint-Georges-de-Chesné (35269), de Saint-Jean-sur-Couesnon (35282), de Saint-Marc-sur-Couesnon (35293) et de Vendel (35348) devenues déléguées.
