Salary income amounted to 20,540 euros on average in 2015

In 2015, annual salary income, including all net salaries paid to the same individual over the year, amounted to 20,540 euros on average. In constant euros, it exceeded 0.6% of its 2014 level, after returning to growth the previous year.

Salary income paid to managers is on average three times higher than that paid to manual workers or employees. The total figures are particularly dissimilar in those under age 25, manual workers and employees: all three of those categories experience more frequently than others periods of inactivity or unemployment during the year.
