Personal services: activity remained dynamic in 2014

Personal services registered 1% growth in 2014, driven by the arts, entertainment and recreation sector (+1.2%). Between 2000 and 2013, demand was sustained overall (+1.7% as an annual average), stimulated by gambling and betting activities and cultural leisure activities (libraries, museums, etc.). Activity in the sector is based on a network of very small structures and a large number of self-employed workers. In 2013, economic performance improved for the third consecutive year.
