Defence Industries Businesses Survey

The survey on defense industries businesses is a statistical survey carried out by the Ministerial Statistical Department of the Armed Forces (Observatoire Economique de la Défense, OED).
Carries out every three years, its objective is to quantify the importance of military activity in France, to shed new light on the importance of Ministry of Defense and international's orders in the french productive fabric, and finally to analyse the financial health of companies involved in the value chain.
The scope of the survey is made up of active legal units, excluding micro-entreprises, in the industry linked to military markets.

This is the first edition of the survey.
