Description

The quality of life survey which was carried out by INSEE in May 2011 allows to study, for the first time most of the quality of life indicators as defined in the Stiglitz-Sen-Fitoussi report. It aims to measure the different dimensions of the quality of life and their correlations, mixing subjective and objective aspects. It also aims to highlight the population groups who cumulate disadvantages.

Conducted on an experimental basis, it is intended to bring empirical element to the reflection on European indicators. It aims, by questioning on many variables, to bring out the core variables that would be retained in the future version of SILC (Statistics on income and life conditions).
