Annual employment survey
The purpose of this survey is to observe the situation of people on the job market, in both a structural and economic manner. It is an integral part of the "Labour Forces" surveys defined by the European Union.
This is the only source that provides a measurement of concepts of activity, unemployment and inactivity as defined by the International Labour Office (ILO).
It is used to respond to the "Labour Forces" survey conducted by the Statistical Office of the European Communities (EUROSTAT).
The survey was first carried out in 1950.
