Survey of attendance in tourist accommodation

The visitor survey in tourist accommodation aims at the cyclical observation of attendance and the study of the structure of the clientele, including its geographical origin.

It covers three types of establishments: hotels, campings and other collective tourist accommodation (youth hostels, international centers of residence, sports centers, tourist residences and residential hotels, family holiday homes and holiday villages).

The information is produced at the national, regional or even sub-regional levels.

Since 2019, the three survey segments (hotels, campsites and other collective tourist accommodation) were grouped together in a single operation.
