Objectifs :

The wholesale food price index measures trends in prices paid by retailers. It is used to monitor the market at an intermediate stage between production and consumption.

The unit of observation is the product the price of which is registered by the National Network of Markets in Rungis, or exceptionally collected by INSEE under OPISE (for milk).
